The countdown has begun!! With less than two weeks away, it is time to start finalizing all the details for Christmas day. Today I am going to be sharing my rustic Christmas tablescape, in hopes, to inspire you for your own holiday table! This year I am loving all of the natural elements and have reflected that in my tablescapes…I mean, is there anything better than some lanterns, deer antlers, and pine cones?! I think not! Grab a cup of coffee and a cozy blanket, because it is “me” time!

I finally couldn’t resist it anymore and broke down and purchased these lanterns from the Hearth and Hand line at Target. They also have them in galvanized, but I am loving the touch of black with the brass handles. Both options are a no brainer!! I love to mix metals in my home decor and my table is no different…these galvanized chargers from Pottery Barn make my heart sing!! They are so versatile and I use them ALL the time. As in, we eat off them nearly every night. Who needs placemats?!
The galvanized napkin rings and chalkboard Christmas tress were a find from the Target dollar spot, but you could easily tie your napkins with some twine to make it even more rustic. By adding inexpensive, Kraft paper, gift tags, the place setting can be personalized with a name for your guest! I haven’t quite decided who I am letting eat at my table this year. HA!
I incorporated a little red into my table this holiday with these fabulous napkins! Sign me up for all things plaid and buffalo check…the plaid really plays up the rustic Christmas tablescape I was aiming for. I used my plain white, everyday, dishes so that the focus remained on the table centerpiece.
A burlap runner lays the ground work for this rustic Christmas tablescape and adds to the natural elements. I had these deer antlers, pinecones, and faux greenery in my dough bowl; which is a total score to use what I already had and not spend anything. I had a lightbulb moment to place them amongst the lanterns…don’t you love it when that happens?! I shopped the house and pulled some candles off my candlesticks, placed them in the lanterns, and sprinkled the remaining pinecones in with them! Voila! (the candles are flameless, so we don’t set our holiday dinner on fire…lesson learned from others mishaps!)
Now that my table is set and pretty, I have to decide on the menu! Always something I tell ya! I hope that you have been inspired for your own home this holiday season.
I would love to hear what your favorite Christmas breakfast is…this momma needs ideas to feed the masses, without me spending my morning in the kitchen!
